Purpose and Values

To provide a safe space for women to have dialogue about the issues they face at CSUDH and in their communities, where they have access to on and off-campus resources/referrals, as well as access to programs and events meant to celebrate and empower women.

To provide programming, workshops, referrals, individual and group support, and opportunities for personal and academic growth and self-exploration. Working with other entities on campus, the WRC will create an environment in which women can thrive, while advocating for greater understanding of the role and impact of gender in our lives, our institution, and our society.

Equity and Empowerment

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) fosters an environment of inclusion and equity with programs aimed at diminishing sexism, racism, heterosexism, ageism, ableism, classism, and other forms of oppression.
