Welcome to the University Advisement Center (UAC) website! Here undergraduate students can find information regarding how to successfully work towards the completion of general education (GE) requirements for the bachelor's degree. The UAC handles such things as GE advising, overall graduation requirements, academic probation and disqualification advising, remedial English and Math requirements, mandatory freshman advising, and university policies and procedures.

Tuesday, April 8, 2014: Registration is now available for Spring 2014 STEPS Workshops. Click here for dates, times, and to register.
Monday, April 7, 2014: Registration is now available for Spring 2014 Make-Up MFA Workshops. All non-EOP/ETE first time freshmen must satisfy the MFA requirement in order to have the hold removed. Click here for dates, times, and to register.
Tuesday, April 2, 2014: New STEPS Academic Probation Workshop dates and times have been posted on our STEPS registration page. Please note that these dates and times are tentative and subject to change.
The UAC is located at Welch Hall A-220.
Open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Students can schedule 30 minute appointments Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Walk-in advising sessions are available from 2:00 PM to closing.
Advising appointments will begin at 8:30 AM, and the final walk-in session will be taken approximately 30 minutes before closing. To schedule an appointment, please call (310) 243-3538 or visit Welch Hall A-220.
Students can reach a UAC advisor via email for quick questions regarding academic advising. Send email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email, include full name and CSUDH student ID number, if applicable.
If the advising concern is time sensitive or urgent, please schedule an appointment or stop by for walk-in advising.
