Welcome to the University Advisement Center (UAC) website. Here undergraduate students can find information regarding how to successfully work towards the completion of general education (GE) requirements for the bachelor's degree. The UAC handles such things as GE advising, overall graduation requirements, academic probation and disqualification advising, remedial English and Math requirements, mandatory freshman advising, and university policies and procedures.

September 22, 2014: Registration for Fall 2014 MFA Workshops is now available. Click here to visit the MFA Registration webpage and scroll down to "Registration" to sign up today!

September 15, 2014: Four more MFA Workshop dates have been added to the MFA Registration webpage for the week of October 20th.

September 11, 2014: Fall 2014 Mandatory Freshman Advising (MFA) Workshop dates and times are now available on the MFA Registration webpage

September 10, 2014: Mandatory Freshman Advising (MFA) Workshops for all non-EOP/ETE first time freshmen will be offered throughout the month of October. Freshmen are advised to check Toromail and the MFA Registration webpage for the most up to date information.

September 1, 2014: The UAC will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014 in observance of Labor Day.

Hours of Operation:

Our office is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Location:

The UAC is located in Welch Hall A-220.

Appointments and Walk-ins:

Students can schedule 30 minute appointments Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Walk-in advising sessions are available from 2:00 PM to close. The final walk-in session will be taken approximately 30 to 45 minutes before closing, depending on advisor availability and the number of students waiting.

To schedule an appointment, please call (310) 243-3538 or visit Welch Hall A-220 during regular business hours to speak with a front desk representative.

To meet with an advisor during appointments or walk-ins, students must provide valid photo identification, preferably the student's CSU Dominguez Hills campus ID card. To schedule an appointment, students must provide their nine-digit CSUDH student ID number.

Late Arrival Policy:

Students with appointments are given a five (5) minute grace period. After five minutes, student may need to reschedule the appointment.
