Welcome to the University Advisement Center (UAC) website. Here undergraduate students can find information regarding how to successfully work towards the completion of general education (GE) requirements for the bachelor's degree. The UAC handles such things as GE advising, overall graduation requirements, academic probation and disqualification advising, remedial English and Math requirements, mandatory freshman advising, and university policies and procedures.

May 14, 2015: Interested in applying to be a Peer Mentor for the UAC? Applications are due on Wednesday, May 27th by 6:00 PM to our office in Welch Hall A220 or by 11:59 PM via email to DHFYE@csudh.edu.
May 8, 2015: The University Advisement Center is looking for current students interested in becoming Peer Mentors for Summer 2015! We will have two info sessions next week:
Tuesday, May 12th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in SBS B215 and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in SCC 607
Wednesday, May 13th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in SBS B101 and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in SCC 610

Our office is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The UAC is located in Welch Hall A-220.
Students can schedule 30 minute appointments Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The UAC does not offer same day appointments in the morning. Walk-in advising sessions are available from 2:00 PM to close. The final walk-in session will be taken approximately 30 to 45 minutes before closing, depending on advisor availability and the number of students waiting.
To schedule an appointment, please call (310) 243-3538 or visit Welch Hall A-220 during regular business hours to speak with a front desk representative.
To meet with an advisor during appointments or walk-ins, students must provide valid photo identification, preferably the student's CSU Dominguez Hills campus ID card. To schedule an appointment, students must provide their nine-digit CSUDH student ID number.
Students with appointments are given a five (5) minute grace period. After five minutes, student may need to reschedule the appointment.
