Bring Your Daughters & Sons to work Day at Dominguez Hills provides a unique opportunity for children to see what their parents do at the University. They will tour the campus, participate in interactive activities, and learn more about the importance of going to college. Special hands-on activities designed specifically for 8 to 18-year-olds will also complement job shadowing and interaction with faculty/staff, college Students and University Administrators.
What: Take A Child to Work Day
When: April 25th, 2013, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Registration: Employees must have MPP Supervisor Approval. Excused Absence Form is Required for All Children Participants!

Campus tours and small group activities will highlight CSUDH Points of Pride and students will learn what we do on campus through job shadowing, and current students will help reinforce how important it is to pursue a college education.
Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day at CSU Dominguez Hills is sponsored in conjunction with the national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day Foundation. Recognized by Congress and Senate Resolutions, the 2013 theme for the 20th anniversary is: "Work in Progress". Cal State Dominguez Hills is proud to promote this mission by inviting faculty and staff to bring their daughters and sons (2 maximum), to campus for an exciting day of activities.
