11:00am - 1:00pm:  Welcome Week Information Booth, East Walkway
  • Each year, Welcome Week kicks off on the official start of the new year for the CSUDH campus – the Friday after classes begin. Events continue through the second week of classes for new and returning students.
  • Stop by the Office of Student Life's Welcome Week Info Booth to find out more about Welcome Week 2017! 

11:00am - 1:00pm:  University Library Open House, West Walkway (between LaCorte Hall and the Library)
Come celebrate Welcome Week with the University Library!
  • Stop by our table on the West Walkway to spin our Prize Wheel to score some library swag...and some knowledge! Whether you are an incoming freshman, a transfer student, or a senior, learn about the resources and services available to you at the CSUDH Library.
  • Feel free to ask any questions you might have and learn how the CSUDH Library is your academic home away from home!

12:00pm - 2:00pm:  Noontime Concert, Palm Courtyard - Loker Student Union
  • #LSUPresents Noontime Performance: X Lovers.

  • Come to the North Patio on Monday, August 28 from 12-2pm to enjoy free live music provided by this pop duo.


2:00pm - 4:00pm:  International Student Mixer, DH Sports Lounge - Loker Student Union
  • Come hang out and get to know your fellow CSUDH students at our International Mixer over food, drinks and fun games! All CSUDH students are welcome!

4:00pm - 5:00pm, ASI Commuter Outreach, Parking lot 2
  • Are you an evening commuter student? If yes, ASI is providing free snacks and refreshments throughout the week of Welcome Week in various parking lots.

5:00pm - 6:30pm:  College of Business Administration and Public Policy Mixer, Loker Student Union, Ballroom C
  • Welcome Business, Public Administration, and Criminal Justice majors!
  • We are hosting a speed networking event with our Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is a group of volunteer community business leaders who provide input on market demands and what is needed for students pursuing their bachelor degrees. Our members will be participating from a variety of industries to provide a face to face opportunity for our students to professionally network.
