About Us

CSU Dominguez Hills is dedicated to offering its students a world of opportunity through innovative programs. The Student Support Services program (SSS) offers 160 first-generation, low-income, or disabled students a wide network of support services that help ensure academic and personal success in college. Designed to increase the retention and graduation rates for underrepresented students who are admitted and enrolled at CSUDH, the program also strives to enhance participants' potential for graduation and professional schools.

SSS is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is administered by the Division of Student Affairs and the CSUDH Foundation. SSS is part of the federally funded TRIO programs. TRIO programs are educational opportunity programs that help disadvantaged students overcome environmental, cultural, and academic barriers to higher education.

The CSUDH Student Support Services Program is a unit of the Division of Student Affairs. The grant from the U.S. Department of Education is administered by the CSUDH Foundation.
