Student Research Day provides a unique opportunity for graduate and undergraduate scholars to share their research or creative projects within a supportive community of peers and faculty. Undergraduate students anticipating graduate work at either the master's or doctoral levels as well as graduate students continuing in doctoral programs are especially invited to participate.
Students will be given 20 minutes (five minutes to set up their presentation, 10 minutes for the actual presentation and five minutes for questions and answers) to present their work in oral format or as a poster or demonstration. Students will be assigned a specific time to present their
work so visitors and judges may ask questions and better understand the research, scholarly or creative activity of each student.
Students giving oral and poster presentations will be judged and top presenters will receive $100 and runners-up $50. Based upon the judging results, up to 10 student oral presentations will be selected to represent our campus at the annual statewide California State University Student Research Competition. The statewide competition will be held at CSU-San Bernardino on May 1 and 2, 2015.
