Our team oversees all pre-award activities related to external funding for research, training and outreach programs and is also charged with advising on graduate programs and research policies and procedures, resolving issues related to graduate students, programs and grants and contracts and developing new graduate degree programs, concentrations, and certificates. The office is part of the Division of Academic Affairs reporting to the Provost and Vice President through the Associate Vice President for Academic Programs.
Congratulations to 13 CSUDH students who participated in this year's CSU Student Research Competition and to Ashley Potter, undergraduate, BS in Biology, who placed second in the "Biological and Agricultural Sciences section for her presentation called "Bleaching and its Effect on the Competitive Interactions of the Symbiotic Cnidarian, Anthopleura Elegantissima." Ashley's faculty mentor is Dr. Jacqueline Padilla-Gamino.
