What was most rewarding about the Presidential Scholars Program at CSUDH?

I was able to be a part of program that is recognized for excellence. It was a great networking environment, and I enjoyed the diversity of the people involved. I gained valuable experience working on a research project in conjunction with amputees being treated at the Veteran's Hospital in Long Beach. And the program provided a great highlight on my resume!

Did the Presidential Scholars Program enrich your CSUDH experience?

Most definitely! I was recognized by peers and professors as an exceptional individual and was approached for help on various projects. I also felt that I was motivated to do better in my classes because it was expected of me. Professors knew I could be pushed to do my best and I appreciate the drive that they instilled in me. I still use it in my work place.
