Rise Heart, Thy Lord is Risen A Concert of English Sacred Music For Choir and Organ

The Chamber Singers from California State University, Dominguez Hills & The Chancel Choir from Riviera United Methodist Church unite to create a chorus of over 50 voices for this performance of works by England’s greatest composers. Choral and organ masterpieces by G.F. Handel, C.V. Stanford, and Benjamin Britten and the magnificent Five Mystical Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams will fill your heart and spirit and delight your ears!Free will offering at the door will support this year’s concert series. Childcare is available free of charge for ages 0-5. Call the church office for a reservation.
