Male Success Alliance Annual Spring Summit

The Male Success Alliance Annual Spring Summit is designed to equip young men with the tools and resources necessary for post secondary success. The summit targets local middle schools and high school students and brings them to campus for an event that is comprised of a keynote speaker, interactive workshops, and a college and resource fair. Each year the program hosts over 700 young men from over 20 schools in the South Bay of Los Angeles.

The goals of the Spring Summit are to:
• Strengthen collaborations with K-12 schools, and community organizations
• Equip students with the tools and resources necessary for post-secondary success 
• Discuss solutions to issues young men of color face in our local community

2017 MSA Spring Summit Infographic Survey Results PDFThe 8th Annual Spring Summit took place on March 17, 2017. This year’s theme was  "Reclaiming Our Legacy: Achievement, Advancement and Advocacy." Students had the opportunity to discuss the responsibility they have to build upon the foundation that has been laid for them as well as learn how to create meaningful change in their community.

Also included this year was a college and resource fair aimed at providing students with the necessary tools and resources to be successful.
