Parking Calls

If you have a call, but must leave the office to gather additional information, you don't have to place the call on hold and come back to it. You can take the call with you by parking the call.

All ITE4 users have access to this feature. See page 11 of your ITE-4 User Guide. To park a call using an ITE4 phone:

  • Press ACCESS * 9 listen for park number
  • Record park number
  • Hang up (call is parked)

To retrieve a parked call (at another location/any extension):

  • Dial Park number----parked call is on the line immediately.

If you use an ITE12+, ITE12S or ITE12SD phone, you can only use the call park feature if you have a "call park/CLPK" Feature button on your phone.

To "park a call" from an ITE12 type phone:

  • Press the call park button (must have call park button-CLPK)
  • Record park number
  • Hang up (call is parked)

To retrieve a parked call (at another location/any extension):

  • Dial park number----parked call is on the line immediately.
