Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 10:00PM to 12:00AM, the Shibboleth Authentication System will be upgraded to the latest version. During this time, users may experience intermittent authentication errors.
On Thursday August 11, 2016 from 10:00PM to 2:00AM, the border Firewall will be replaced with a new appliance. During this time, remote access to University systems from off-campus could be impacted.

On Friday, August 5, 2016 beginning at 3:00AM, Information Technology will be updating firmware on all campus VoIP telephone handsets. During this process, the handsets will restart a few times.

On Thursday August 4, 2016, the de-commission of CSUDH Student network and Toromail accounts for students who have not been enrolled in the campus for more than two (2) years, have no active application with the University, and are not currently a member of the CSUDH Alumni Association.
On July 25th, 2016, from 10:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M., the Division of Information Technology’s server team will perform maintenance on a storage device, which will involve a part replacement. This key replacement piece requires the device to be shut down while performing maintenance. Please note this will impact access to campus servers during this time. Once the part has been replaced, the device will be powered back up and access to the servers will be restored.

PeopleSoft HR/SA, Student Center, Faculty Center, and employee self service will be unavailable due to fiscal year-end processing beginning 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 30th until 7:00 AM Friday, July 1st. BlackBoard, ToroMail will be unaffected.
Weekly PeopleSoft HR/SA, Student Center, and Faculty Center maintenance will begin earlier due to increased workload. Our maintenance for Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 will be from 6:30pm to 11:59pm.
PeopleSoft HR/SA, Student Center, and Faculty Center, and student/employee self-service will be unavailable.
BlackBoard, ToroMail, OnBase will be unaffected.
On Friday, July 1st beginning at 2:30am and continuing until 12:30pm, Blackboard will be offline to perform a system upgrade which includes the latest tested production service pack. During that time period, Blackboard services will be unavailable.

The next phase of the Common Network Initiative (CNI) is here. On Friday April 29th, 2016 between 8:00 PM and 11:59 PM, Welch Hall will be converted over to the new Alcatel Lucent network. You may temporarily lose network connectivity during these times as the connections are being changed over.

The Chancellors Office will be also performing a system upgrade to CFS/CFSDW on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until the evening of Monday, April 25, 2016. Although CFS will be down, MyCSUDH, Lynda.com, Blackboard, Toromail, Library and other similar systems will not be affected.
Our Unisys Data Center will be performing maintenance on Sunday, April 17, 2016 between 12:01 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. During this time, PeopleSoft HR/SA, Student Center, Faculty Center, and Self-Service updates will be unavailable.
As part of our continual improvement process, the Division of Information Technology team will be migrating the authentication servers on Monday, March 28, from 7:00 pm until 11:00pm.
During this time, DHNET (password reset) will not be available. Between 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm access to Blackboard, MyCSUDH, ServiceNow, CFS, Lynda.com, Toromail, Library and other similar systems will be impacted. All services are expected to return to normal operation by 11:00pm.
On Friday 3/18/2016, 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM we will be upgrading our network equipment located in the SCC1 building. This upgrade will enhance network connectivity and will temporarily affect buildings SCC1, SCC2, SCC3, SCC4, SCC5 and SCC13, as the computer and phone systems in those buildings may experience brief interruptions. To provide the campus with faster internet service, we will be replacing all of our Cisco equipment with brand new Alcatel-Lucent equipment. The upgrade will take place Friday February 26, 2016, 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016. This upgrade will increase both the capacity and speed of our campus connection to the internet up to 10G, giving us the ability to extend services, develop further research opportunities and address the growth of mobile technology on campus. The upgrade should not cause any interruptions; however, if there is a momentary loss of connection, it should not impact any users.
Due to emergency maintenance MyCSUDH, CFS, Lynda.com, Blackboard, Toromail, Library and other similar systems will be temporarily unavailable, beginning Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:30 A.M. ending 4:00 A.M.
PeopleSoft HR/SA, Student center, Faculty center, employee self service will be unavailable beginning Friday February 5th, 2016 at 6:00 pm until Saturday February 6th 6:00 pm due to system upgrade. BlackBoard and toroMail are not affected.
