I.T. Training

As training is essential to the success of most projects, the Division of Information Technology is hiring an I.T. Trainer to conduct learning sessions for all the upcoming projects such as the Campus Access Device Rollout, which will include laptop and iPad training, and the various enterprise wide software releases.   

In addition, the I.T. Trainer will create workshops and learning sessions on the use of technology in the workplace that could be a benefit to campus employees and will facilitate user groups for technology areas of interest.

Examples of workshops and learning sessions are as follows:

  • PeopleSoft (the campus Common Management System)
  • Blackboard and Blackboard Communities
  • Percussion (the campus Web Content Management System)
  • Copyright Practices
  • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Including OneNote
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise and Digital Publishing Suite
    • How to create a flyer using InDesign
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • How to create accessible documents and presentations
  • How to use the campus portal and email
  • How to surf the web safely
  • How to use an iPad
