Servicemembers and Veterans

CSUDH is a proud member of the Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC), a consortium of more than 1,700 colleges and universities providing post-secondary education to members of the military world-wide. CSUDH is approved by the State of California as a training facility for veterans eligible for VA benefits. The Office of Disabled Student Services and Veterans Affairs (located in Welch Hall, Room B250) provides services to veterans and dependents of veterans who are eligible for the Montgomery GI Bill. These services include certification of enrollment for educational benefits and information concerning University services. Veterans Affairs office staff can be reached at (310) 243-3643.

The Armed Forces offers active duty soldiers, sailors, marines, guardsmen, and airmen several programs to support their education goals including up to 100% Tuition Assistance for college courses, vocational training, and certificate courses taken during off-duty hours.  For more information about this benefit, visit http://www.csudh.edu/military/TA.html.
