Technology-Based Education

Putting technology to work for schools.

Designed for, but not limited to, currently practicing teachers, the Technology-Based Based Education Program prepares candidates to become knowledgeable technology resources for their schools and districts. Students of the program have the opportunity to complete an MA in Education with a specialization in Technology-Based Education, in 30 units of coursework.

Candidates emerge from the program well prepared to design, develop, evaluate and integrate technology-based learning tools, projects and experiences into the classroom learning process. The program's curriculum covers a broad base of key areas, including software, multimedia, Internet and distance learning -- equipping candidates with the practical knowledge to leverage these technologies to improve the way students learn, think and create.
