Construction Project Management at CSUDH Extended Education

One of my students, Samuel Ngnagna (nana) is a Kenyan who has been in this country several years. He was in the building business in Nairobi and left when bad economic times hit there. He and his wife emigrated to the U.S. and settled in Atlanta. He took a job as a long-haul truck driver "to learn about the country" from coast to coast to coast. Then he decided that he wanted to get back to construction and began looking for a suitable certificate program. He says that the CSUDH program was exactly what he was looking for and he and his wife moved to Southern California specifically to be able to take our program. Hearing that really enforced my feelings about the value of the program as well as the responsibility we share for the well-being of the students taking classes in our program.
