Off Campus Courses

Young Scholars Off Campus Courses are California State University Dominguez Hills courses that are taught on high school campuses. Students who successfully complete a Young Scholars Off Campus course will have six semester units recorded on a Dominguez Hills transcript. High schools can choose to give students high school credit for successfully completing the Young Scholars Off Campus course but that decision is at the discretion of the high school.

Juniors and seniors who have a B average and the permission of their principal or college counselor can enroll in the Young Scholars course taught on their high school campus and earn 6 units of college credit for $76 per course. Each Young Scholars student must have a sponsor at the high school who will provide support throughout the semester and act as a liaison with the university.
