Biography

Hakjoon Song is an Associate Professor of Accounting at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Before joining CSUDH, Dr. Song taught financial accounting courses at the University of Akron as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Song completed his PhD in Accounting at Temple University and received his MBA and B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota and Korea University. Dr. Song's primary research interests are in the areas of archival auditing, corporate governance, and international accounting. In addition, Dr. Song has research interests in interdisciplinary areas between accounting and finance/management/environmental issues and constructs. His publications appear in such academic and practice journals as Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Accounting Horizons, Current Issues in Auditing, and The CPA Journal. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio.
