The Career Center offers psychological counseling to currently enrolled students to help them overcome challenges so that they can succeed in their academic and life goals/development. Our services include short-term counseling for individuals, couples, group counseling, and crisis intervention. In addition, we provide referrals to community resources and offer psychological workshops to classes and organizations on campus.
Students who seek psychological counseling are often struggling with problems such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family problems, loss or grief, sexuality, social problems, lack of motivation or life transition issues.
Counseling assistance is offered by licensed psychologists or advanced doctoral psychology interns in our office as well as in the Student Health & Psychological Services department.
