REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Here you’ll find information on the required documentation needed to enter the U.S. as an international student, including foreign transcripts, entrance examinations, English proficiency tests, financial certification, and course descriptions or syllabi.

FOREIGN TRANSCRIPTS

Find out what foreign transcripts or academic records you need to send to CSUDH as an incoming freshman, transfer student and graduate applicant, as well as how to submit transcripts. 

ENTRANCE EXAMS

Learn more about entrance exams required for undergraduate students including the SAT, ACT, and ETS, as well as required scores. Here you’ll find information on GRE and GMAT exams for graduate students as well.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

If English isn’t your native language, or you have not had three full years of your secondary education taught in English, you’ll need to provide proof of your English proficiency. Learn how to provide that proof via TOEFL exams. 

FINANCIAL CERTIFICATION

In order to study in the U.S. as an international student, you’re required to provide documentation showing that you have sufficient financial resources to complete your course of study. Learn how to supply this documentation with financial certification

COURSE DESCRIPTION & SYLLABI

Applicants who are transferring post-secondary courses to CSUDH are required to provide official course descriptions and/or syllabi. Learn more about this requirement and what it entails.
