Changes in Credit and Debit Card Payments

Starting on April 2, 2015, a 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee will be charged to all credit and debit card payments. This fee goes directly to the third party processor TouchNet® PayPathTM to cover fees charged by the card companies. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted at the cashier’s window and students who want to pay by credit card will need to do so online at MY.CSUDH.EDU. Debit cards used online are processed as credit cards and are subject to the 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee. CSUDH pays approximately $300,000 annually in convenience fees and these savings will be used for instructional improvements which include classroom renovations and/or instructional technology upgrades. Nine classroom upgrades were completed just this summer.

The main function of the Cashiers' Office is to accept payments from students and the campus community and to ensure accurate postings of these transactions to student accounts. The Cashiers' Office also provides petty cash reimbursements and payroll distribution for CSUDH staff and faculty.

The Cashiers' Office has extended hours at the start of each term. Consult the class schedule for dates and times.

Pay Your Bills:

Fees may be paid three ways: online, in person, or by mail.

  • To pay online, sign on to MyCSUDH and go to the ToroPay link. You can pay by electronic check or by credit card. There is a non-refundable 2.75% service fee ($3 minimum) charged by our third party processor TouchNet® PayPathTM for paying with a credit card.  Debit cards are treated the same as credit cards and will incur the service fee. There is no fee charged for paying with electronic check.          
  • To pay in person, visit the Cashiers’ Office on campus at WH B270. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check, cashier checks, and money orders.  The Cashier’s Office does not accept credit card or debit card payments.
  • Mail (check only) payment to:

To pay by mail, payment must be received in Student Financial Services, Cashier's Office by the due date(s) as noted above. A postmark does not establish the payment date.
